Claire Munday is the creator of Tappy Toes, a children's dance franchise. After a 10 year career as a professional dancer, Claire developed the Tappy Toes syllabus to share her love and passion for dance with the under 5's. Claire also runs a successful performing arts school, Rise Studios. She is passionate about child development, which is at the heart of both businesses.

One of my favourite moments in my 20 years of teaching Tappy Toes was seeing 4 Grandma's building a friendship during their time at Tappy Toes. They all bought their Grandchildren along, and started going for coffee afterwords. After a few weeks this turned into a lunch and after that, it became a weekly thing. I absolutely love the fact that they met at a Tappy Toes class and have now become firm friends. This is why I am so passionate about the Innovate Project and knew that I had to get involved!
